The fourth Global Expo Botswana took place from 4-7 November 2009 at the Botswana Conference and Exhibition Center (Fairgrounds) Gaborone, Botswana, under the theme “Unlocking opportunities in the current Global recession”. 

160  Exhibitors took part from 11 countries notably: Botswana, Brazil, Ethiopia, Kenya, Germany, India, Namibia, Nigeria, RSA, Zambia and Zimbabwe.  4709  visitors visited Global Expo Botswana 2009 while to date BWP48.6 million approx $8 million worth of business was transacted throughout the period of the exhibition from the 399 business matchmaking sessions organised.
